Practice begins January 29th!2024 Practice Schedule
Mondays 4:00 - 6:30p (4:00-4:45p Fitness Room) Tuesdays 4:00 - 6:30p (4:00-4:45p Dryland meet on pool deck) Wednesdays 3:00 - 5:30p (3:00-3:45p Fitness Room) Thursdays 4:10 -6:30p (4:00-4:45p Dryland meet on pool deck) Fridays 4:00 - 6:30p (4:00-4:45p Fitness Room) OR Swim Meets Saturdays TBD Practice times include getting the pool ready (covers off/on), meetings, and changing time. Swim time will be approximately 1.5 - 2hrs. You may be finish practice earlier depending on time of the season/weather. Expectations 1. Come to practice every day - If you go to school you are expected to attend practice. Schedule appointments and extra activities around practice times. If you are to miss practice we need to hear about it ahead of time from the athlete; not a friend or parent. If you miss practice we need a note from your parent explaining where you were. 2. Be on time. You are expected to be at all swim events early and ready to participate. If you are late you will need a note. 3. Give your best effort every day. Swimming in a demanding sport both physically & mentally. Stay focused and goal driven. Outside programs If you swim for an outside program (year-round swim team; SCSC, SUNN, DACA, MAC etc.) you are not required to attend practice everyday based on your ability. 1. CCS qualified swimmers & Varsity Top 8 League Finalist Swimmers - are expected to come to our HS practice once a week. To be coordinated within the team. (League Finalist times posted in office). 2. Non-Varsity Finalist swimmers - are encouraged to come everyday but must come at least twice a week. |

This Wilcox Swim season the coaching staff will be communicating through SPOND (spond.com). Each athlete/parent can select to receive messages, emails, or both whenever a communication is sent out. Please email me to request access. |
